During the upgrade from the old Forums system to the new one, I've had to make the template all afresh, new matching buttons, icons and color schemes. And I do believe everyone loves it as it is 
But as u know, forums do mostly offer more related template styles to their members for their enjoyment. Hence I'll take ur ideas and suggestions upon having new styles on the forums.
The current style is named DP Style 1.0. We've also got a few more styles currently, but I've disabled them and forced the default DP Style to be displayed for all member accounts. This is because the buttons, icons and other template images created for DP Style 1.0 do not look good with the other styles available at the moment. This is because the DP Style is a dark one, whereas all others are light.
Coming back to the point again, I'd like to know if there's an interest for more styles on the forums by the members. If u have any ideas, like creating a style based on a particular anime, or just different types of Pokemon related styles like e.g. based on the new Diamond & Pearl series, water/grass/rock/fire type of Pokemon styles, styles dedicated to ur favorite Pokemon, etc. You may also suggest what kind of layout wud u like (if not the current one), light or dark color schemes and the banners/buttons/icons for the style.
While this is supposed to be just a Suggestions topic, so don't misunderstand that I'm gonna work on them anytime soon. There's a lot of other tasks to be done on the forums atm, so this will be considered only sumtime in the near future.
And also remember, new styles won't replace the current DP Forums 1.0 default style. U will be given a list to switch between styles on the fly.

New Idea I got.
Place a headline at the top of forum which would move continuously and have latest news just like TV channels have.
