This new Pets feature allows registered DPForums members to have a Pet on the forums, and raise it by frequently feeding it and looking after its necessities. After a month or so, 25 days to be exact as I've set in the config, ur given the chance to evolve ur Pet (if it has any evolutions).

Features:

• Pet status: health, hunger, thirst and hygiene.
  
• Pet shop: buy and sell food and items for your pet.
  
• Hotel: put your pet into the hotel.
  
• Pet owners list.
  
• Vet: fully heal your pet.
  
• Resurrection system.
  
• Sell your pet: his value increases with time.

While raising a Pet can get quite expensive since u gotta use ur earned Pokies (cash) for buying food/water/cleaning/vet/hotel/evolution purposes and attend to it daily, just like u wud have to with a normal Pet. But as u can read the last feature above, all the raising and caring sure rewards u sometime, since the value of ur Pet increases with time and u can sell it anytime in exchange of Pokies (altho it'd be so harsh to the Pet ).

For now, the Pet system is new to the Forums, hence I've tagged it BETA and am myself currently using it (U can View my Pet ) to find any flaws and experience it. In my opinion, if u take the Pets that seriously to the heart, u'll love the feature. So go ahead and buy a Pet and try it out, and my recommendation wud be to first have a good amount of Pokies, or u'll end up with none and ur Pet will eventually die... Anyways, have fun and post ur comments, suggestions, experiences...

Errr... @Swarnava... haven't u tried it before. It was available on the old forums. But currently I havent add it yet to this new one, since only I was the one to own a Pet, and later it got expensive, coz u need to need to regularly feed, clean it using ur Pokies.

Are the pet Pokemon.
If so Then implement this feature right away.
Is it like this:
One should have an unevolved Pokemon.
He will train it,feed it,love it and finally evolved.
If so then I want it so badly.
I really want to be friends with my Infernape

Its the awesome of the awesome features.It allows you to spend your Pokies too.
Guess you adopted Chimchar as your pet.
You will buy him food,play with him.
After your certain posts and certain food given to it,he will evolved to Monferno and so on Infernape.
It could also be used for battling other members.

Nah.Its wasn't upgrading in my opinion.Did you saw any change.Its was just server problemling.
