If you go and look for speed running diamond videos you can find amazing videos where these guys finished the game in less than 6 hours! And they did it without trading and cheating. They finish the game with something like a Lv64 Empoleon. I just started a new game but I'm not sure I'll speed run it. But I still can't believe something like this is possible. Can anyone put some strategies up here you think will be useful for speed running. I used to play red and stuff and beat it with my charizard but it wasn't speed running. This is an interesting thing.

I have done it before a lot and I am telling you it is very easy. Just read a walkthrough.

Gosh, I'm too lazy. But this is the 3rd time I restarted diamond so I pretty much know lots of he nooks and crannies in the game now. But I'm not sure about the items anymore. Oh well, I want someone to post their time and team and I want the time to be under 6 hours. I'd like to know anyway

lol I haven't completed DP even once

Lol, my save file died. So i'm gonna be a total noob and try and finish the game with a single infernape. I finished the game twice. It would've been thrice if my save file didn't die.

My Save file got corrupted after I left no$gba running for like a whole day constantly, and then it crashed. It was a lot buggy back then, and it reverted my save to previous save.. so I lost 10 hrs of gameplay (ouch!), this was when D/P launched I think in 2007? So I left playing then on, at around half the game. I vowed to only complete the game next on a real DS, and I did so after buying it last year at around this time in Christmas with Diamond, and then Platinum in March.

The first time I played pokemon, I didn't even know how to save, I speed ran with a blastoise(pkmn red) till saffron
