Location: Sugarland Prison, Jhoto
Day: Tuesday, 10th of May
Most of the inmates of this hellhole of a prison are sleeping but one of them is rudely awaken. “WAKE UP!! You have got a visitor” shouts the warden. The man who was sleeping gets up, his real name is not known but once he was known as the ‘IRON-MASKED MARAUDER’. He has been locked in this prison for months, for the crime of poaching. His ‘visitor’ walks into his cell wearing an expensive suit, “Let me, introduce myself, my name is Jonathan Wooden”. The marauder looks towards him and says, “I don’t care if your name is Max Payne, what do, you want with me?” The man sits next to him and says, “Well, Mr. Marauder, I heard that when you worked for Team Rocket you had perfected the design of something called a ‘darkball’. My...firm would like to know how it worked; you would be handsomely rewarded, given bail if you wish. Hearing this, the marauder chuckles and says, “Well you sure know how to convince a man don’t you Mr. Wooden. Even if you don’t reward me, I will tell you anyway. I’m a man with nothing to lose. You see a lot of people have this notion that the ball does the trick, that’s not true. Actually it’s a brain implant. I attach the implant to the back of the head and then capture the pokemon in my darkball, that’s when the magic starts. You see the implant sends a signal to the body ordering it to release vast amounts of adrenalin, plus because the pokemon ‘sleeps’ in the ball, the implant activates its primal instincts.
That is, it causes the pokemon to go mad with fury and rage. It goes berserk and destroys everything it sees.” Mr. Wooden appears to be very happy with this and asks the marauder; “Is there any increase in the physical capabilities of the pokemon” .The marauder puts his hands behind his head, rests it against a wall and answers, “Well, there is a vast increase in strength and power and the pokemon’s size seems to increase by1½ times. Its skin color becomes darker and you can actually see some of the veins on its body”. Mr. Wooden is quite impressed by all of this and asks one final question “Is there anyway to stop such a dangerous pokemon?” The marauder smiles, “None. Though if the pokemon is somehow incapacitated, the implant stops working, unless it wakes up of course.” Mr. wooden then gets up and turns to face him; “Thank you for your time and information Mr. Marauder and as promised, here is your reward...” he immediately takes out a gun and shoots the marauder
He hands the warden a bag and walks out of the prison as if he has no worry in the world. He enters into a helicopter which fly’s him out to a large mansion.
There are people waiting for him at the gates, all wearing white suits with a black raven printed on their breast pocket. The helicopter lands and all the people present bow to him in respect. He is escorted inside; there is a large room which has a screen showing satellite images of 3 cities in Kanto, Jhoto and Hoenn. He asks one of the men standing near him, “Jason, have my men raided the marauder’s base?” and he replies, “Yes sir, we have found enough data and equipment to mass produce these implants” Mr. Wooden smiles, “GOOD! Show me the test subjects” He is soon brought to a laboratory where 9 pokemon have been chained and ‘prepared’ for his schemes, Also there are 3 unchained creatures that seem to be organic but their behavior is robotic. Just standing still like mannequins. He smiles, seeing that all is going according to his plans. Jason asks his master, “Sir, we have done everything you have asked for, but what exactly is your plan?” Wooden looks at him and replies, “Well you see, my plan for now is to send 3 each of these pokemon into one city of Kanto, Jhoto and Hoenn each as a part of my field test program. Then after the entire world has witnessed their destructive power, I will sell these super-soldiers of mine to the highest bidder; I already have a client waiting....some Hussein or something like that.
And as you must know I have already installed 3 transmitters in each of the cities which will send the signal to the implants which instead of being exposed will be inside the heads of the pokemon.
Jason becomes worried and asks, “But sir what if someone finds these transmitters and tries to destroy them.” At this, Wooden laughs and replies, “Don’t worry, they are quite well hidden and the people will be to scared or panicky to do anything about it.” Plus as an extra precaution, I am sending The Trio (points to the 3 unchained creatures) after the troublemakers

FIRST ENCOUNTER

ABHISHEK & SABRINA
Location: Saffron City, Kanto
Day: Tuesday, 17th of May
It is a beautiful day in Saffron City. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and a wonderful psychic aura seems to surround the city, since it is the home of world famous psychic pokemon trainer and Gym leader Sabrina.
Little does she know that she is about to receive a very, unexpected visitor.
A young man enters through Saffron’s famous ‘Golden Gates’
He carries a bright smile on his face and a heavy bag on his back; it seems that he is a regular over here as many people seem to know him.
He enters into the Saffron Gym but is abruptly stopped by a man with a mask on his face, “STOP! Who goes there?” But the boy is not amused, “C’mon Michael, enough with it already.” Michael takes of his mask and recognizes the boy, “Abhishek! WOW! Long time no see. I’ll tell Sabrina you’re here.” Abhishek refuses, “No thanks, I want to give her a surprise.”
He goes through the hallway and pushes the Gym doors open, inside it is absolutely dark except for a line of torches that go from the doorway to the stage. These torches illuminate a red drapery in which the shadow of a little girl appears. A voice... “Are you ready to die mortal?” Abhishek replies sarcastically, “Oh Mistress of Death! Please don’t hurt me; I am too young to die!” Then, all of a sudden, the lights turn on, and a young woman appears on the stage, her name is Sabrina, Saffron City Gym Leader. “Abhishek?! Oh My God!” She runs up to him, stares and gives him....a tight slap, “2 years and not so much as a phone call”; Abhishek is shocked, “Ow! That Hurt! You didn’t have to hit so hard and I didn’t call because I was busy.” Sabrina replies, “Yeah right, you told me you were going to the Pokemon League” Abhishek smiles, puts down his bag and takes out a trophy, “Here’s the proof, I won the Jhoto League Silver Conference!” Sabrina smiles, “Well congratulations. Looks like you actually did learn something from me” They share a few more giggles and decide to go to a coffee shop. As Abhishek sips his coffee, Sabrina looks out the window and her smile changes to a frown. Abhishek asks, “Hey Sabrina, what’s wrong?” Sabrina looks longingly at him, “Abhishek, I have to tell you something important. But I don’t know if I should. You might think I am going crazy or something” Abhishek puts his mug down and grabs her hand, “C’mon Sabrina, you can tell me. We have been friends long enough to trust each other” Sabrina replies, “Well since the past 2 days, I have been having these nightmares.....no visions that something bad will happen. I have had visions before but they were nothing more than erratic dreams, but this one’s different, it seems real.” Abhishek gives a worried look, “Ok, do you have any idea when this will happen?” Sabrina looks down and closes her eyes as if trying to answer his question, and then she screams with horror, “NOW! IT’S GOING TO HAPPEN NOW!!” Abhishek replies in confusion, “What? Now! But..........” but before he can finish his sentence Sabrina jumps out of her seat, grabs Abhishek by his shirt and pulls him down just as a SUV smashes trough the window and sails inches above their heads. People start screaming with horror and confusion, when Abhishek and Sabrina get up, they clearly see why........

SANA & CLAIR
Location: Blackthorn City, Jhoto
Day: Tuesday, 17th of May
“Hey down here! Clair” shouts Sana gleefully, waving the flashlight in her hand. Having heard her friends call, Blackthorn City’s gym leader glides majestically down on her Dragonair, “Hmmm....Nice work. I would not have found this section of the Dragon’s Cave without your help” The Dragonair using its light beam, scans the entire cave like a miniature spotlight. The light reflects of the shimmering rocks and waterfalls. Sana exclaims, “Beautiful isn’t it. A fine addition to my 3D Cave map” Clair smiles, “Yes it is quite beautiful. But don’t let the information get leaked, you know this cave is sacred to us” Sana returns the smile, “Of Course, you can trust me. This is just my way to test the software. In the future cave explorers and Cave divers are going to need this kind of thing. No more getting lost, you will have the entire cave on your Palm™. Anyway, people are too scared to enter this place........Monster Dragon’s you know!” she chuckles. Clair laughs, “Yes I know! But after that Team Rocket incident, I have been more careful, then again those 3 were just bumbling idiots.” Sana wonders, and then asks, “Hey, listen. Isn’t there a story about a sleeping dragon or something that lives here” Clair’s face softens, “Well yes, My grandfather told me that this cave is a tomb, a tribute to the greatest of all dragons, they say that his spirit resides here and whoever is daring enough to enter will be guarded by the dragon’s spirit for eternity. Sadly, this story has been mutilated and now is a script for a monster movie. Anyway, they say that when the cave rumbles, it is the spirit who has become restless” Sana replies, “Then again it is this monster movie script that saves it from nosy people.” Just then, the cave rumbles, Sana immediately jumps on to her Milotic, “Time to go!” The 2 trainers and their pokemon glide out of the cave and as they leave, they look back at a statue of a dragon in the middle of the cave. Clair exclaims, “In the 10 years that I have known you, you never seem to cease to amaze me” Sana exclaims, “Brrr.... I am cold. Let’s warm up with some coffee” Clair smiles, “Finally! The hot blooded Indigo League Winner, Sana gets the chills” Sana smiles, “Very funny........bla bla bla” They head off to a coffee shop and talk. Sana yawns, “You know not much goes on nowadays, it’s almost like the world has gone quiet. I wish something big and exiting would happen” Clair smiles, “Be careful what you wish for, you never know when it might come true” Sana chuckles, “Yeah right! O C’mon. I wish a big ‘FIREBLAST’ would scream right past this window, that would be fun to see” Clair shouts, “Holy Cow!! DUCK!!” and almost as if her wish had been answered, a huge blast of flame screams past the window and rips the wall apart. They wake up in smoke and smoldering steel. They move outside, the entire block seems to be burning, cars exploding, people screaming. An entire building explodes and out from the rubble walks out an enormous monster. Clair quips “See! I told you” to which Sana replies, “ALRIGHT! FINALLY!!”


NISHANT & ROXANNE
Location: Rustboro City, Hoenn
Day: Tuesday, 17th of May
“Another day another trainer” yawns, Roxanne, Leader of Petalburg Gym as her newly defeated victim slumps out of her gym. “That was the 3rd one this week! Where have all the good trainers gone? Shouts Roxanne. Then suddenly a friendly voice quips, “Hey, I’m a good trainer, battle me! Plus, if you keep battling like a maniac, the league council will boot you for being too good” Roxanne takes a deep breath realizing who it is, “Yeah right Nishant! It’s just that nowadays trainers are not serious enough, though Ash Ketchum was pretty serious, an exception, a diamond in the rough” Nishant who had been Roxanne’s friend since childhood replies, “Well I don’t think so, It’s just that different trainers fight in different styles. Everyone’s serious it’s just that they haven’t yet discovered the right balance between style and substance” Nishant then smiles, “I on the other hand have discovered the balance, I didn’t win the Whirl Cup and Orange League by acting cute now did I?” Roxanne looks at him awkwardly, “OH! Will you please shut your pie hole; you’re giving me a migraine. You and your...what do you call it. Oh yes, flexibility” Ever since Nishant and Roxanne had known each other, they were completely different. Nishant was always flexible like water whereas Roxanne was hard and rigid like a rock yet by a miracle of fate, they were practically made for each other.
Nishant quips, “Hey, do you want to have some coffee?
Roxanne replies, “Yeah sure. Hopefully it will fix this migraine.” They head off to a nearby coffee shop to talk. Roxanne orders, “Um... Waiter, 2 Espresso coffee’s Please!” Nishant asks, “Hey Roxanne, How long have we known each other” Roxanne smiles with sarcasm, “Oh C’mon. We have known each other since we were babies, we were......” Nishant interrupts, “So if 2 people have known each other for this long.........is it okay for them to.......you know!” Roxanne laughs, “Well Yeah! Why not? But personally I think all this is a waste of time. At first it’s all happy but after the first few years it starts to rot, but why are you asking me all this??” Roxanne then eyes Nishant carefully, worried that whether she said something wrong. Their coffee arrives and as they drink, Nishant’s face becomes solemn, “Listen, um Roxanne. I need to ask you something. Something important” Roxanne’s face, lights up, “Is it possible? Is he going to ask THAT question?” she wonders to herself, her heart starts to beat faster. While Nishant himself starts sweating, fearing the answer he does not want. He looks at her and says, “Um... Roxanne, will you....” But before he can finish his question, he is interrupted by a huge explosion that occurs outside. They run out side and see a huge traffic jam on the road, people screaming. Then a huge earth quake like fissure rips the road apart, tossing cars left and right and then just a few feet away from them, the earth erupts like a volcano as if something had just freed itself from its clutches. Something green flies over their heads, and lands in a group of cars nearby. Roxanne quips, “Rustboro! We have a problem”

VENKAT AND DRAKE
Location: Pumello Isle, Orange Islands
Day: Tuesday, 17th May
A beautiful day dawns on the peaceful island of Pumello, but sadly soon things here will turn ugly. We see Drake, leader of the orange crew playing with his beloved Dragonite. He uses a launcher to shoot a ball into the air while his Dragonite flies up to catch it. A shadowy person watches from behind. He walks up behind him. Drake smiles, “Hi, so how you doing?” The man answers, “Hi Drake, I ‘m fine. Anyway, something big is going on” Drake’s face on hearing this becomes grim, he calls back his Dragonite and turns around, “It’s not them is it?” The man looks down and answers, “I apologize for bearing bad news but according to our Intel he’s back and this time he’s become stronger shocked, “What! That’s crazy. What’s that ******* up to now??”
The man replies, “Well, there is some good news. We finally managed to get a mole deep inside the demon’s den. Apparently he managed to get the ‘Marauder’s’ technology. I don’t know how he did it but he killed the ‘Marauder’ for it. And what the mole told us is staggering.” Drake becomes restless with fear and anxiety, “What? What did he say??” The man tells Drake everything and as he does so Drake rubs his temples with disbelief. “NO! This isn’t possible. Venkat! You told me that the ‘Marauder’s base would be found!” shouts Drake. Venkat replies, “We did but by the time we got there, it had been wiped clean. Plus he sent the THE TRIO after us.” Drake slaps his head in confusion, “NO! This is crazy. And now he sends THE TRIO. This is like some bad nightmare” Venkat grabs Drake by the shoulders, “Drake! Calm down! As members of the GLOBAL ELITE, It is our duty to stop nutcases like him.” Just then an alarm starts to ring throughout the stadium, the two go to a secret room where a LIVE! TV broadcast is being shown on 4 screens. 3 cities are shown being ravaged by 9 pokemon. Then a man’s face appears, he speaks, “To all who are seeing this, my name is Jonathan Wooden and I am the leader of the DARK LEAGUE, a secret organization devoted to world domination. I present to you my pokemon super soldiers. Stronger and smarter than any other soldier in the world. These are nothing; I can make hundreds of super soldiers. They are the strongest army in the world. I am too lazy to do anything and therefore invite the terrorists and tyrannical generals of the world to buy my soldiers to spread hell on earth” Venkat smashes the screen with his fist, “I hate his egotistical demeanor, don’t you” Drake lowers his head and rubs his temples with his fingers, “We have to think of a plan. What do we do? If we leave they’ll find our base and destroy Orange for it. But if we don’t hundreds of people are going to be killed. One way or the other, we lose”
Then Venkat notices 3 images on the other screens and smiles, “Don’t worry Drake, we’ll handle things here. There are 3 people in those 3 cities that I trust will take care of the situation”

[align=center]SECOND ENCOUNTER

ABHISHEK & SABRINA
A large blue behemoth stands on what used to be a wall. It lets out a steam of hot air like a mad tauros. Abhishek whispers, “Is that a Blastoise?” Sabrina screams in horror, “IMPOSSIBLE! They don’t grow that big! It’s over 12 feet tall.” Just then it lets out an ear shattering roar, lowers its water tubes and launches a powerful blast of water. In a split second Abhishek releases his Girafarig and shouts, “PROTECT!” Immediately, a semi transparent aura surrounds them and deflects the blast of water. The blue behemoth grunts with frustration. “Abhishek! C’mon we have to get out of here” suggests Sabrina. Immediately they rush out the back door, and hear more screams. The entire city seems to be falling down. Abhishek shouts in horror, “What the hell is going on?? It’s like the apocalypse.” Sabrina, “I don’t know. But we better get out of here” They reach, Sabrina’s gym which seems to be in a state of evacuation. Michael comes rushing out, “Sabrina, Abhishek! Thank god you are here. There’s big trouble. The city is being attacked my monster pokemon. The military has been called in and everyone has been given orders to evacuate at once, no one is supposed to approach them, not even the gym leader. All this comes straight from the mayor”
While Michael speaks, Sabrina and Abhishek clench their fists in anger.
“I don’t care what the mayor says. This is my city and I’m not going to run away like this. I’m going to fight. Sabrina! Are you with me??” shouts Abhishek, to which Sabrina replies, “The hell I am. I’m not running away either”. Michael seems shocked, “Are you crazy? Listen. I don’t think this is a good time to play hero” Sabrina puts her hands on Michael’s shoulders, “Listen Michael. You and the others get out of here as fast as possible; we’ll take care of things here.” With great reluctance, Michael agrees and gives them one final bit of information, “Before I go. One more thing, these monster pokemon seem to have a purpose, and are acting quite unnaturally, almost as if they are being controlled. Be careful you guys” Michael then turns around and leaves. Abhishek looks at Sabrina, “Ok. So where do we start” then, as if an answer had appeared, on several screens in a television shop , a Blastoise was shown attacking the pokemon center and a Venusaur was attacking the railway station where people were trapped. Sabrina says with confidence, “I’ll go to the railway station and you go to the Pokemon Center” Just then Abhishek runs towards the garage, the revving of an engine is heard and Abhishek rides out on a dirt bike. “We need to get there as fast as possible, I’ll use my bike. What about you?” asks Abhishek. Sabrina smiles, “I’ll use this” and she throws a pokeball out of which appears ..........Mew. Abhishek stares in shock, “Wow! When did you get that?” Then, without wasting anymore time, Abhishek and Sabrina leave for their destinations.....

Abhishek arrives at the Pokemon Center which appears to be under siege. Blastoise has ripped a wall apart and all the doctors are trying to get the pokemon out. Abhishek sends out Girafarig, “Psychic!” Girafarig eyes glow and a purple energy strangles and chokes Blastoise. He is then thrown into a truck. Blastoise, soon breaks free, it grunts with anger. Abhishek shouts, “Girafarig! CRUNCH!” But then without warning, Blastoise uses SKULL BASH which takes Girafarig completely by surprise and knocks him out. Abhishek calls him back, revs his engine; he drives past Blastoise to get his attention and tries to lead him away. Blastoise grunts and gives chase, but then he stops. Abhishek also stops and looks back at his opponent. Blastoise jumps up, withdraws into his shell and RAPID(ly) SPIN(s). Abhishek quickly puts his bike in full gear and makes a mad dash. He makes a turn but the road is being blocked by an over turned 18-wheeler truck, and Blastoise approaches him with killer speed. Abhishek has just enough time to jump off the bike. Blastoise collides into it and smashes into the truck, the truck’s tank bursts and a liquid pools out. Realizing what the liquid is, Abhishek smiles. He takes out his Magcargo and makes an evil smile. Looking at the frustrated monster before him he says, “You know, from where I come from. This is what they call Diwali. FLAMETHROWER!” From Magcargo’s mouth a large blast of flames comes out which on making contact with the liquid causes a huge explosion. After the smoke clears, a bruised and battered Blastoise collapses to the ground. Abhishek runs up to it, “I’m sorry. But that had to be done.”

Sabrina arrives at the railway station. A train carriage is thrown directly at her, she ducks but Mew is able to hold it in check at throws it back towards the source. It hits Venusaur right in the face. He then uses VINE WHIP to send another carriage, full of people hurtling towards them. Mew uses CONFUSION and keeps it in check and gently drops it on the ground. Sabrina laughs, “How did you like that?”
Venusaur roars with rage. Sabrina shouts, “Mew! Use TRANSFORM” Mew begins to glow, transfigures and becomes an exact replica of the opposing Venusaur. The 2 behemoths grunt and growl at each other, then the opponent starts to charge towards Mew, Sabrina shouts, “MEW!! TAKE DOWN!!” The 2 behemoths charge at full speed and when they collide, it creates a tremendous shockwave. They continue to tackle each other, trying to topple the other one. Finally, the opponent uses CONSTRICT and strangles Mew. Mew is unable to break free of its hold. The opponent then starts charging a SOLARBEAM, almost immediately the beam fires and Mew is thrown back, it smashes against a pillar. Mew then reverts back to itself looking battered and bruised. Sabrina then realizes that she has no other choice, she was warned about it, she was told never to perform it but there was no time, she had to do it. Even if it meant losing Abhishek and............. her life. Sabrina shouts, “THAT’S IT! You are going to get it now!” She gently lifts Mew and holds it in front of herself. Then, something happens. Sabrina and Mew stand still with their eyes closed, a purple energy pulses through them, it increases rapidly in intensity, and so much that they begin to exude a purple glow. Sabrina starts to chant, and then Mew and Sabrina forcefully open their eyes, they are red with fury. A massive beam of purple/pink psychic energy is fired at the Venusaur. It is so powerful that the ground rips apart in front of them; the Venusaur gets hit by the blast and is crushed under tons of rubble
. Sabrina’s and Mew’s eyes return to normal, Sabrina is breathing hard; her face is riddled with sweat. She then feels it, it was coming to claim her, her breathing slows down, her body starts to ache and finally, she gives out a groan and collapses. People run toward her, one boy shouts, “OMG!! Are you okay ma’am?” No answer. Mew then starts to nudge her trainer, no response. Mew continues to nudge Sabrina and ‘mews’. It begins to cry. A man comes claiming to be a doctor, he lifts her arm and checks her pulse, his face becomes grim and he stands up......... “I think she’s dead”

SANA & CLAIR
“HOLY COW!! What the hell is that thing?” shouts Clair, pointing at the fire belching behemoth. Sana shouts excitedly, “THAT’S A TYPHLOSION!!” Clair denies, “Impossible! They don’t get that big. Forget that, people are in danger we gotta help them, we both have type advantage against it, must be a rogue”
Sana replies, “Alright! Now you are talking Sana Style” The Typhlosion roars with fury, it eyes a couple of kids hiding and prepares to use FLAMETHROWER, but before it can do so, a HYDRO PUMP, hits it hard and smashes it into a wall. The Typhlosion is hurt but it shakes it off. Sana shouts, “Milotic! One More!” But before it can do so, the Typholsion performs SWIFT which batters Milotic and then it goes in for a powerful QUICK ATTACK which hurts Milotic badly, Clair shouts, “Oh My God! It’s so powerful! Dragonair! Use HYPERBEAM!” A massive golden beam leaves Dragonair’s mouth and heads directly for Typhlosion; it turns around, stretches its arms forward and endures the force of the blast. It’s bruised not beaten. Clair and Sana stand helpless and bewildered. The Typholosion roars with fury, it stares them down, ready to burn the flesh off their bones. Then all of a sudden, the sound of tires screeching is heard, a police car arrives and 2 officers get out and start shooting the monster Typlhosion, it gets irritated at prepares to attack the officers, this gives Sana and Clair a window of opportunity and they attack the Typhlosion with a combined HYDO PUMP and HYPER BEAM, Typhlosion is it badly and he is blasted into a building. Clair takes a deep breath and snaps at the 2 officers, “What the hell were you two thinking?” The two officers get startled, one of them says, “Were sorry ma’am! We were just trying to help” Clair calms down and replies, “I know but I think you two are better off helping those who really need it. Anyway, thanks for your help otherwise who knows what might have happened. So, what are your names?” The officer who spoke before replies, “You are welcome Miss Clair, I am Starski and my partner here is Hutch”
As the officers leave, Sana begins to laugh, “Starski? Hehehe! What kind of a name is that? Clair also laughs. They start moving towards their gym only a few blocks away. While running, Clair sees a shocking news report on a television in shop window. Her mouth is gaping wide as she sees and hears something impossible....... My name is Jonathan Wooden and I am the leader of the DARK LEAGUE............. “NO WAY! This can’t be happening” shouts Clair in disbelief. Sana asks, “Clair! What’s wrong? Do you know this Wooden guy?” Clair while hastily pulling a portion of her trousers replies, “A little too well actually” She takes out, what looks like a futuristic style walkie-talkie, she presses a button and speaks into it, “OPERATOR, This is Lady Draco, get me Hellfury, NOW!!” While she talks, Sana stands next to her in bewilderment. Clair speaks, “HELLFURY! Please tell me you have been watching the news. WHAT! OH MY GOD!! That son of a..........Anyway, would it be possible to send help.” Clair hangs her head in disbelief. All 3 cities which have been attacked have been placed under lockdown which means that nothing can get in, not even a GLOBAL ELITE strike team. Sana grabs Clair by the shoulders, turns her around and asks, “Clair! Maybe this isn’t any of my business but what’s going on? Who’s HELLFURY? And why did u call yourself Lady Draco? Clair takes a deep breath, “Well, it’s a long story but I will tell you anyway”

About 15 minutes later, Sana and Clair are racing across the city on her Dragonair looking for a monster Meganium or Feraligatr. “GOD! Wow! I can’t believe it! My best friend is a member of the worlds most covert anti pokemon-crime organization. WOW!” shouts Sana in wonder. Clair replies, “I would have told you long back but we have a rule against it. It’s to protect our loved ones” Sana smiles and replies, “Aww... that’s sweet. They continue flying then suddenly a green whip comes out of nowhere, grabs Clair by the neck and pulls her off Dragonite “Oh My God!! Clair!” screams Sana in disbelief as she sees her friend being dragged away by the neck with a green whip. She quickly turns her Dragonair and heads off in the direction of the whip; she turns a corner and is shocked to find a monster Meganium over 8 feet tall holding her friend hostage. One whip was around her neck and another was around her midsection, threatening to crush them both. Clair was struggling, gasping for air, tears running down her cheeks. Sana tensed up, she screams, “LET HER GO! YOU HURT HER AND I WILL SLAUGHTER YOU!!”
The Meganium seemed unfazed by the human’s threats. It roars and tightens its hold on Clair’s neck. Sana, breathing hard, slowly moved her hand down to her belt and grabbed a black and yellow pokeball, “You wanna fight? Fine. Let’s see how you like this” She throws the pokeball, it opens and a magnificent emerald serpent appears with such beauty and strength that people consider it a king. It was a Rayquaza. The Meganium roars with fury, it tries to break Clair’s neck, but Sana’s Rayquaza flings its tail like a whip causing a shockwave, knocking Meganium off balance. Clair is thrown from its grip but her Dragonite manages to catch her. Clair drops off and gives Sana a hug, tears rolling down her cheeks, “Oh God! Thank You, Sana. I.......I thought I was a goner” Sana hugs her back, “Its ok. C’mon, enough crying already. Let’s finish Mr. Green Thumb here” Clair regains her composure and commands Dragonair next to Rayquaza. They make an evil smile and shout, “DUAL HYPERBEAM!!” The two magnificent creatures open their mouths and a yellow energy orb starts to form, the two beams head towards the Meganium as one, just before they hit a bright light was seen coming from the Meganium. A huge explosion occurs, but there was no cry of agony or pain. When the dust settles they see something horrifying. The Meganium was standing there just as before as if nothing had happened. Apparently it had cancelled the dual hyperbeam with its own SOLARBEAM. Sana shouts in shock ,“Could this get any worse” Just then the ground beneath them starts to rumble, a massive water blast blows out a man-home behind them and a blue monster bursts out. Clair replies, “Be careful what you wish for” .Sana bites her tongue. The two massive creatures stare them down ready to attack any moment.

NISHANT & ROXANNE
“Oh My God! What is that? A Sceptile??” shouts Nishant. Roxanne stares at the green monstrosity before them, “No! It couldn’t be. It’s just too big” They stare at the creature and wonder what to do, deciding that discretion is the better part of valor; they make a run for it. However they are able to make it only a few meters before they hear a blood-curdling screech. The Sceptile jumps off the cars, runs towards them, jumps and lands a few meters ahead of them. Nishant quips, “Okay! We are officially screwed” Roxanne suggests, “Guess we have no choice but to fight, GO! NOSEPASS!” Nishant also releases his pokemon, “GO! SWAMPERT!” The Sceptile makes a low frequency hiss and attacks. It uses LEAF BLADE, but Nosepass and Swampert manage to dodge. Swampert lunges for Sceptile trying to overpower it with its weight, but the Sceptile manages to pick up and toss Swampert like a flea. Nishant shouts, “HOLY CRAP! This requires some strategy.” Roxanne gets an idea and orders Nosepass to toss Sceptile into the air. The granite behemoth lumbers on to the Sceptile, it dodges but Nosepass’s still manages to grab it and tosses it clean into the air. She orders Nosepass to use ZAP CANNON. Nosepass’s nose glows bright yellow and a massive beam of electricity flows up and hits Sceptile. It screams with fury. Nishant shouts, “SWAMPERT! SEISMIC TOSS!” Swampert jumps up and grabs the falling Sceptile; it begins to rotate it in mid air and bashes it down. The Sceptile lands hard on his face. Nishant quips, “Well! That was easy.” But Roxanne thinks otherwise. They order Nosepass and Swampert to go get a closer look. The 2 pokemon get near the Sceptile and stand over it. Then, in a sudden and swift movement, the Sceptile gets up and delivers a powerful LEAF BLADE to Nosepass which takes it completely by surprise and sends it flying into a car. Nosepass tries to get up but then it faints. Roxanne calls back Nosepass and prepares to release another pokemon but Nishant gestures not too. He shouts with anger, “He’s Mine. Get him Swampert!!” Swampert lunges at Sceptile and grabs it by its shoulders; Sceptile retaliates by grabbing Swampert and trying to push him. It now becomes a game of reverse tug of war as the two pokemon try to overpower each other. They release each other from their grip and engage in fisticuffs. Blow is returned by blow until they manage push each other back. Both are sweating profusely and are ready to fight till the end. Nishant gets an idea, “Swampert! Use MUDDY WATER!” Swampert fires a stream of muddy water at Sceptile, it skillfully dodges, but Swampert manages to hit him and stick him to a building. The Sceptile starts to struggle, attempting to get free. Nishant shouts, “SWAPMERT! Use EARTHQUAKE!!” Swampert jumps into the air, and body slams the ground to create a mini earthquake. The building on which the Sceptile was stuck starts to rumble; finally it collapses on the Sceptile that had just gotten free. Nishant calls back Swampert. Nishant and Roxanne hear an Ekans like hiss but then it fades. Roxanne speaks, “GOD! What kind of a monster was that? It was so powerful” Nishant replies, “I don’t know but there may be more”

Nishant and Roxanne are driving in her car looking for any more of those monster pokemon. They stare at the city. Some parts look normal while others are more akin to being a war zone. They sense a rumbling. Roxanne quickly stops the car and they get out. A car fly’s out of nowhere, barely misses their heads and crashes into a wall. A warning shot. They look in the direction from where the car came from and see a huge Swampert grunting with rage. It runs towards them, Nishant and Roxanne quickly release their Gyrados and Aggron. The Swampert lunges but Aggron knocks it back. The Swampert growls and uses MUDDY WATER, Aggron rolls away but it hits Gyrados. Nishant shouts, “GYRADOS! Use DRAGON RAGE!”
Gyrados roars with fury, starts to spin in place and launches a massive tornado. The Swampert tries to resist but is overpowered and thrown into a car. Roxanne orders Aggron to use HYPERBEAM; a massive yellow beam is fired from Gyrados’ mouth. The Swampert manages to jump away and it uses HYDRO PUMP on Aggron. Aggron is hit hard and stumbles but it still manages to get up. Roxanne asks, “Aggron! Can you go on?’ Aggron stands up and roars meaning that it’s ready to fight. Nishant orders Gyrados to use BITE, it lunges for Swampert trying to bite him but Swampert grabs its mouth and keeps it away. Roxanne seizes the opportunity and shouts, “Aggron! TAKE it DOWN!” Aggron charges, hits and smashes Swampert clean into a truck. Nishant screams, “GYRADOS!! HYPERBEAM!” Gyrados again fires a massive yellow energy beam, this time it hits and also blows up the truck. They see a burned and bruised Swampert stumble out of the wreckage. Roxanne shouts, “WHAT THE HELL! No way could it survive that!” The Swampert roars with fury. It uses HYDRO PUMP on Aggron which badly hurts it, Aggron falls but this time he doesn’t get up. The Swampert then runs towards Gyrados, Gyrados tries to chomp its head off but Swampert manages to grab him and performs SEIESMIC TOSS. Gyrados falls. Nishant screams, “NOO! Gyrados! C’mon buddy. Wait a minute. I have an idea” The Swampert gives out an unearthly laugh; it proceeds to go near Gyrados, wanting to have a better look at its kill. Then Nishant shouts, “NOW! SWING YOUR TAIL!” Gyrados in a fluid movement swings its tail, taking Swampert by surprise and causing it to fall. Gyrados quickly grabs it and squeezes its body inside its jaw and tosses it at a building. Then, with one final HYPERBEAM, it blasts the Swampert through a building. Roxanne quips “WOW! Nice move!” Gyrados celebrates its victory by giving out a mighty roar, but then it collapses, beaten. Nishant calls him back, “Nice Work buddy!”
Roxanne suggests, “Hmm........We just fought off 2 of the Hoenn starters. That means a Blaziken remains”
Nishant replies, “You are right. We also have just one pokemon each”
Without wasting more time, they jump into Roxanne’s car and start looking for a monster Blaziken.

VENKAT & DRAKE
Two magnificent creatures, a Dragonite and a Charizard are racing across the Orange Archipelago. They are being ridden by two of the most skilled pokemon trainers the world has ever known. The one on the Dragonite, Drake asks the person on the Charizard, “Hey Venkat! Prima’s here too right? We should contact her at once” Venkat replies, “Yes she is, I completely forgot about her!” He then proceeds to take out his cell to call her but before he can dial, it starts ringing. Drake laughs, “speak of the devil” Venkat answers the call and its Prima, with a sense of urgency in her voice she speaks, “Hello? Venkat! Hey, have I got news for you. That stupid ice cube is back and its here on Mandarin Island! Get here quick. And would you mind telling me, HOW THE HELL DID WOODEN MANAGE TO GET THE MARAUDERS TECHNOLOGY! It’s all over the news, monster pokemon attack 3 major cities and a megalomaniac arms dealer is ‘field testing’ these monsters!” Venkat replies, “I know! I should have informed you sooner. We are in trouble, big time! What’s worse is that the ******* sent us the TRIO to play with. We’ll get over there as soon as possible” Drake asks, “Let me guess, she found out everything and one of THEM is on Mandarin Island.” Venkat nods.
On Mandarin Island, a spectacular scene is taking place. The north wind is fighting the Ice Golem. More specifically, it’s Prima’s Suicune fighting Regice. Regice tries to smash suicune but it expertly dodges. The north wind howls and bites Regice but it barely leaves a scratch. For once Prima considers having only ice and water types a bad thing. Regice tries to get a LOCK-ON suicune, and succeeds and uses ZAP-CANNON. Prima screams, “SUICUNE! QUICK........USE MIRROR COAT” Suicune closes its eyes and a pink aura appears, the zap cannon hits it, tries to get through but it deflects back towards Regice with double the power. It hits him and Regice goes down. Prima smiles but then she looks at her Suicune who is breathing hard. The bad side of the Mirror Coat move is that it hurts the user. Regice then gets up as if nothing had happened. It prepares to use another ZAP-CANNON but before it can do so, a massive BLAST of FIRE comes down from the sky and incinerates Regice. However Regice does not fall, it simply looks up in the direction of the attack and sees a Charizard and Dragonite. The pokemon touch down near Prima’s suicune. Prima quips, “Well! Well! Well! Look who it is. Thanks for coming guys” Venkat replies, “Ha-ha! Your welcome ma-” Drake interrupts, “Cut the chit-chat! We have to take Regice down remember!”
The 3 trainers turn their attention to the robot like Regice. Prima calls back her suicune and releases Articuno. Regice makes a sound which sounds almost like an evil cackle. Regice performs a HYPERBEAM. All the three pokemon skillfully dodge it. Venkat shouts, “Okay! LET’S WASTE THIS GUY!!” They all give their commands; the mouths of their pokemon start to glow. 3 massive beams erupt from their mouths, they converge and the beam hits Regice squarely I the chest. For a moment it appears to drill its way into Regice. The energy fades and there is an abdominal lull. Venkat, Drake and Prima stand there with a look of shock and bewilderment. Regice stands quietly in front of them as if nothing had happened. It then begins to cackle again. Drake is the first one to realize, “HOLY ****! NOO! RUNN! ITS GONNA EXPLODE!!!” They sit on their pokemon and make a run for it. Regice starts to glow and then it releases a massive blast from its body. The trainers are not able to make it very far and are caught in the blast. They and their pokemon spiral out of control and fall to the ground, hard. They regain consciousness with their faces in the dirt. Prima is the first one to shout, “Son of a .....” but is cut short by Venkat. They move towards Regice who is lying face down on the ground.
Drake suggests, “I’ll call for a pick up crew. You guys go without me”
Venkat is shocked, “What! You’re not coming” Drake replies, “No! Someone’s got to make sure that Ice Cube here doesn’t wake up.” Just then, Drake’s mobile begins to ring, he answers, “Yes! WHAT! Ok, we are coming.” He smiles at his companions and says, “Ok! It was one of our agents. He said he saw Tin Can on Valencia Island.” Venkat and Prima quickly get on their pokemon and start to fly towards Valencia Island. When they reach the island they are shocked to find that the pokemon lab is now a smoldering ruin on the ground. They clearly see ‘Tin Can’ better known as Registeel walk out of the ruined lab.
Venkat shouts, “DEAR GOD! NOO! That bloody..! I hope some made it out alive”, Prima replies, “Yah! I hope so too. LET’S FRY THAT *******” Articuno and Charizard race towards Registeel, It looks up at them and fires a HYPERBEAM but it misses. Articuno lets out a powerful ICE BEAM which freezes Registeel in place. The block of ice begins to shatter immediately but before it is completely free, Charizard fires a massive FIRE BLAST which causes an explosion. After the smoke and dust clears, Registeel is seen lying on its back. After a few minutes of silence it gets up again. Prima gets an idea, “Venkat! What if we manage to push Registeel into water, it’ll sink right?” Venkat ponders the thought and replies, “But it’ll climb back up.” To which Prima replies, “But what if we encase it in a giant column of ice, from the surface to the bottom. I doubt that it’ll be able to break free of ice with that much density” Venkat retorts, “Worth a shot! But that thing weighs as much as a train” Registeel eyes them carefully as if trying to figure out their next move. Charizard and Articuno take off into opposite directions but suddenly, just as Charizard had taken off, a HYPERBEAM hits it and it falls to the ground. Registeel then makes an unearthly sound, which sounds like a cackle. Articuno meanwhile fires another ICE BEAM but it gets cancelled by another HYPERBEAM. Prima shouts in rage, “HEY MORON! IS HYPERBEAM THE ONLY ATTACK YOU KNOW?” Behind her a bruised and battered Charizard desperately tries to get up but faints.
Venkat screams in rage, “How dare you hurt my prized Charizard!” He sends out the flame weasel, Typhlosion. It roars with fury, ready to attack. Venkat shouts, “TYPHOSION! PUSH HIM OFF THE CLIFF!!” Typhlosion roars and starts to run towards Registeel. It launches another HYPERBEAM, but with amazing grace Typhlosion merely jumps to avoid it. It smashes into Registeel trying to shove it but it’s too heavy. Venkat shouts, “C’MON!! YOU CAN DO IT!” Typhlosion bellows with anger and in an amazing show of strength, it lifts Registeel while it fires another HYPERBEAM but Typhlosion manages to endure it and tosses Registeel as hard as it can. It falls short of a few inches but a well placed HYPERBEAM by Articuno sends it over the cliff. Prima shouts, “ARTICUNO! PERFORM YOUR SPECIAL PERMA-FREEZE ON THE WATER!!” Articuno fly’s majestically downwards and just as Registeel hits the water; it uses a powered up ICE BEAM to freeze a large portion of the water. Registeel was now completely immobile, encased in the center of a massive iceberg.

[align=center]THIRD ENCOUNTER

ABHISHEK & SABRINA
Abhishek sat on the footpath with his hands on his face. He was crying. He had just received an anonymous call from the train station saying that Sabrina, the gym leader has died. The call was from her mobile and his number was under, ‘EMERGENCY’ He at first screamed at the caller telling him not to speak nonsense but when he considered that the call was from Sabrina’s mobile and all the details the caller gave was true, he realized the truth. Sabrina.........the woman who he would die for................was dead.
His Magcargo stood silently before him; he sensed his trainer’s pain.
Abhishek simply sat there, his eyes red from all the crying. He did not have the strength to even call back his Magcargo. A military Humvee came along and two officers got out. They first looked at the burned Blastoise and then at the young man before them. One of them spoke, “Are you alright?” Abhishek for a moment just stared at their faces, and then he somehow managed to regain his composure, got up and with a weak voice replied, “Yes. I’m Ok. Me......... and... Sabrina got two of them. I guess the Charizard remains. The one who spoke before replies, “Yes we know. We know of Miss Sabrina’s heroism. We also know that you two were going to be engaged and we understand your pain.” Without saying anything more, Abhishek and the 2 officers drive off on search of the Charizard”
The second officer asks Abhishek, “I know it’s not the best time to ask but I think I recognize you. Aren’t you Abhishek Ganguly, the guy who won the Jhoto Silver Conference?” Abhishek looks up at the officer and sarcastically replies, “So?? Want an autograph?” The second officer realizing his mistake replies, “No. It’s just that I feel sorry for you” Suddenly, voice comes through the radio, “ALL UNITS REPORT TO AESIR PLAZA SECTOR. WE HAVE THE CHARIZARD UNDER FIRE. OVER!” The second officer picks up the receiver and replies, “ROGER! This is scout unit 5. We have a civilian on board, however we will continue to said area” Abhishek is shocked at this, “Hey! What are you doing?” to which the first officer replies, “Listen! We have no other choice. We can’t just drop you off anywhere. It’s still too dangerous. Considering that you were able to beat one of them single handedly, I’m sure that you will be alright.”
They reach Aesir Plaza, where a ferocious battle is taking place. A massive Charizard is fighting 3 gunship helicopters. One manages to tail the Charizard and sends a hail of bullets, but the Charizard quickly reverses in such a way that it smashes through the helicopter. The other two start firing their missiles but they miss. The Charizard then uses a FLAMETHROWER which turns one helicopter into a flaming wreck.
The Humvee parks some distance away from AESIR PLAZA.
The driver speaks, “Okay Lieutenant! What now! That thing brought down those choppers like flies.” The lieutenant just stares at the monster Charizard wondering what to do, “We can’t risk collateral damage, so no tanks or planes. That’s what the mayor said. I think he’s a nut. These creatures have done more damage than we could ever do.” While the 2 officers discuss strategy, Abhishek stares at the monster Charizard which was now on top of a building, roaring. Abhishek then notices a sniper rifle kept in the back of the vehicle and promptly grabs it, he checks the loader for a bullet and sure enough there was one.
He noticed some spares as well and took them even though he knew that the first bullet would decide fate.
He promptly opens the door and walks out. The 2 officers notice this and run out to stop him. The Lieutenant shouts, “HEY! What the hell do you think you are doing? STOP NOW SON!”
Abhishek turns around with a look of frustration, “I know exactly what I’m doing. Normally I would fight the Charizard with my pokemon, fair and square. But I’ve had enough of fairness. It’s either him or me”
The lieutenant contradicts Abhishek’s statement, “But you have got so much to live for. Friends, family, your l....” and stops abruptly. Abhishek scoffs at this, “HA! You just said it. What is the meaning of life, if you lose the most important thing in it? I’ve got nothing to live for”
Now the driver/private replies, “But do u thing revenge is the true answer? If you do this, what difference will remain between you and that monster? Abhishek becomes very angry at this statement, “WHAT! YOU *******! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I’VE BEEN THROUGH? This is not revenge. This is payback.” The private attempt’s to further argue with Abhishek but the lieutenant stops him “Shut up Private! I understand what this young man has experienced. You just take out our assault rifles” Without saying anything more, the private goes to the back of the vehicle.
Abhishek stands in the middle of the road, his body bursting with anger. He puts the rifle to his shoulder and fires a warning shot at the Charizard. The Charizard turns its head to where the shot came from and sees a human loading his weapon. The Charizard roars with rage. It jumps from the top of the building, folds its wings and enters into a collision course with the human. Abhishek realizes that the time to decide the victor had arrived. He puts the rifle to his shoulder and the scope to his eye; he aims for the head and fires. For a moment time seems to freeze. The Charizard locked in a collision course, the bullet going straight for the head, Abhishek standing eerily still with the rifle. Then, in the blink of an eye, the Charizard falls to the ground, inches away from his feet. Abhishek turns around and begins to walk away when suddenly, the monster gets up, and Abhishek in a reflex smooth action smashes the butt of the rifle against its face. The monster becomes dazed for a second but before it manages to lunge for its victim, a hail of bullets come out of nowhere are pound the Charizard. It falls limp to the ground......dead. It was finally over. The bullets were from the assault rifles held by the two officers. Abhishek drops the sniper rifle to the ground, its job was done. The lieutenant goes up to Abhishek and hands him the set of keys, “Here, the keys to the Humvee. I’m sure you’ll need a ride home. By the way, I completely understand what you’ve been through. I also lost my love in an accident. It was only my integrity as a military officer that taught me how to get over my loss. I hope you can find a way too.” Abhishek then performs an action he thought he would never do again. He smiled. He went up to the Humvee and silently drove off.

SANA & CLAIR
A Mexican style showdown is taking place in the heart of Blackthorne City. 2 serpents, one emerald and the other sapphire are fighting 2 mighty beasts. A monster blue colored crocodile and a freakish cross between a plant and a brontosaurus. For the first few minutes it’s just a staring game, and then the true fight begins.
Sana shouts, “RAY! EXTREMESPEED!” Rayquaza curls up, launches itself like a spring and barrels straight through the Meganium. It retaliates with a powerful body slam which hits Ray’s face. Meanwhile, Dragonair has wrapped around Feraligatr who tries desperately to break free. Feraligatr tries to BITE Dragonair who manages to avoid the attack. Clair shouts, “Dragonair! Good! THUNDER WAVE!” Dragonair’s horn glows yellow and a weak current flows through Feraligatr’s body, not enough to kill him but enough to paralyze him. Dragonair unwraps itself from Feraligatr’s body. Clair shouts, “Dragonair! Use THUNDER!” Dragonair’s horn glows bright blue and a massive shockwave of thunder is sent towards Feraligatr. Meanwhile, Sana orders another EXTREMESPEED attack but it jumps to avoid the attack. The Meganium attempts a BODY SLAM but it misses. Sana shouts, “RAY! DRAGON CLAW” Rayquaza tightens the muscles of its claws and slashes Meganium causing it to get thrown backwards.
The thunder attack from Clair hits Feraligatr and its drop to the ground. Dragonair comes close but Feraligatr performs a surprise SLASH attack that knocks the wind out of Dragonair. Clair has had enough, she shouts out loud in rage, “DRAGONAIR! Wrap around him and use THUNDER!” Dragonair lunges for Feraligatr but it dodges. Feraligatr keeps dodging and uses HYDRO PUMP but it misses. Dragonair manages to catch up with Feraligatr and wraps around him. It then uses a powered up THUNDER. For a moment Dragonair and Feraligatr glow a blinding white color has electricity surges through their bodies. After the light fades, Dragonair unwraps itself and a badly burnt Feraligatr falls to the ground.
Meanwhile, Rayquaza and Meganium are locked in heated battle. Every time Rayquaza uses ICE BEAM, it gets cancelled by Meganium’s SOLARBEAM.
Sana shouts, “FINE! Let’s see how you like this! IRON TAIL!” Rayquaza’s tail glows brightly as it tightens all the muscles, it gives a swift swing. Meganium tries to dodge but fails. Sana shouts, “GOOD! ICE BEAM” Rayquaza’s mouth glows a light blue color and an icy beam shoots from its mouth. It hits Meganium and freezes it in place.
Sana screams cheerfully, “YA! HOWZ THAT! HAHA!” Clair laughs, “Nice work partner” They give each other a hi-five. Clair picks up her mobile and talks into it, “Hello Operator! Get me HQ! Sir! Lady Draco reporting. I with the help of an accomplice have cleared Blackthorne. Thank you sir! Please send a clean up crew as soon as the lockdown is lifted; it’s a mess over here. One more thing, have the other cities been cleared too? Really? Good! Lady Draco out” Sana ponders a thought and asks Clair, “Um Clair? Don’t mind me asking but right now you seem pretty confident and composed. When that Meganium had gripped your neck, you ....well...... kind of lost your cool. I thought you Elite’s were trained for anything.” Clair looks at Sana with sad eyes and replies, “Well, you are right. The thing is that I had a traumatic experience as a child. I once got attacked by an Ekans and it had wrapped around my neck tightly, I practically suffocated to death. I was only 4 and that experience has haunted me since then. I want to get over it, that’s why I prefer pokemon that remind me of that serpentine shape. For example, my Gyrados and Dragonair” Sana then apologizes, Clair quips, “Nah! It’s ok. We all have our weak points.”
They continue to share some more giggles and wait until the whirring of rotors is heard. They see 2 jet black Boeing Chinook helicopters descend with the GLOBAL ELITE symbol (a globe with white wings and a sword on top of it) on the sides. The helicopters land and a couple of armed soldiers run out. A man comes out and greets them, “Good Work both of you! I must say that I’m impressed” Clair replies with a tone of seriousness, “Your Welcome! But I couldn’t have done it without Sana over here” The man turns his eyes towards Sana and replies, “Ah! So you are Sana. I couldn’t expect more as you are the champion of the Indigo League. We could really use people like you”. Sana giggles, “REALY! WOW! I think I will join”
Clair replies, “Good! C’mon. Let’s proceed to HQ”
After the two pokemon have been placed in secured cells, Sana and Clair head off to the headquarters of the GLOBAL ELITE. But little did they know that Sana was yet to realize the big picture. When she does, it will scar her forever.

NISHANT & ROXANNE
Nishant and Roxanne were driving around town look for either the military or a monster Blaziken. By now the city had been deserted. The evacuation was a success, thanks to them. Roxanne was now driving very fast, she turns a corner and all of a sudden a red shape jumps into their way. Roxanne shouts, “HOLY ****!” She turns the car so hard that it swerves out of control, the red shape actually a Blaziken jumps to safety. Roxanne stops the car and they both get out. Unlike the other two, this Blaziken did not immediately attack them, it just stood there. It acted almost as if it was human. Nishant and Roxanne however release their final pokemon, Altaria and Sudowoodo respectively. The Blaziken runs towards them. Promptly, the two trainers order their pokemon, “DRAGONBREATH”, “ROCKSLIDE” Altaria zooms towards the Blaziken and release’s a massive blast of fiery breath. Blaziken dodges the attack and performs FIRE PUNCH knocking it away. Sudowoodo slams diagonally into the ground, hurling several boulders at Blaziken; it dodges some but is hit by the final boulder.
Blaziken roars with anger, it attempts to SKY UPPERCUT Sudowoodo, misses, tries again but misses. Sudowoodo manages to avoid the attacks one after another. Nishant shouts, “ALTARIA! TAKE it DOWN!!” Altaria fly’s in from behind and hits Blaziken causing it to topple over. Roxanne shouts, “SUDOWOODO! SLAM!” Promptly, it runs over and slam’s Blaziken into a car.
Blaziken stands up, it roars with fury. Sudowoodo and Altaria close in for the kill. Blaziken quickly runs in between them and delivers a massive BLAZE KICK that throws them both into opposite directions.
Nishant has had enough, “ALTARIA! SKY ATTACK!” Altaria zooms up into the sky searching for Blaziken’s weak spot. Meanwhile, Roxanne orders another ROCK SLIDE but Blaziken manages to punch through the rocks and SKY UPPERCUT’S knocking it a good distance away onto the roof of a car.
Sudowoodo stumbles on to the ground and collapses. Roxanne runs towards Sudowoodo to see if he is alright. She recalls him into her pokeball. Blaziken attempts to run towards Roxanne but Altaria catches him off guard and delivers a powerful SKY ATTACK.
Blaziken gets so angered by the attack that it grabs Altaria by its left wing and starts to shake and slam it like a rag-doll and throws it in Roxanne’s direction. Altaria lands a few feet away from her. Nishant also runs towards Roxanne. He looks back for a moment and notices that the Blaziken was running in the opposite direction, Roxanne lifts up Altaria in her arms.
Nishant looks back one more time and sees something horrifying. The Blaziken held a car above its head, ready to toss it. Nishant realized what was going to happen, he shouted, “ROXANNE! GET OUT OF THE WAY!” But she was distracted and it was too late, Blaziken threw the car, with the bonnet side facing her. In seconds it would close the distance. Somehow Nishant manages to reach her shouting, “GET OUT OF THE WAY” She turned around and saw the giant metallic boulder coming at her, she froze. Nishant managed to push her onto the sidewalk, still holding a fainted Altaria. The car hit him, he was dragged a good distance before the car overturned and fell on top of him. In the blink of an eye, he was dead.
The world suddenly froze for Roxanne. She didn’t even realize it until the last moment. In front of her eyes, Nishant sacrificed himself to save her. She started to run towards him hoping beyond hope that he was alive.
Tears fell down her cheeks, she saw the over turned car with only a hand visible.
She bends down and grabs his hand, “NOO! PLEASE! Don’t...leave....me!” She continues to cry and notices a ruby colored pokeball with a note attached......

Roxanne was speechless, tears still rolling down her cheeks. By this time the Blaziken had walked very close to her and was standing and watching from a few feet away. Then it performs an act that makes Roxanne’s blood boil...... it starts to laugh. Roxanne screams at the pokemon, “YOU BLOODY *******!! YOU SON OF A......” but before she can complete the sentence, the Blaziken runs over to her, grabs her neck and lifts her up. She struggles to breathe. She drops the pokeball and it opens. Her eyes become wide as she sees a massive monster appear out of the pokeball. The creature roars with a deafening cry that makes windows shatter. The Blaziken turns around to look at the massive crimson behemoth, a GROUDON! The groudon without hesitation slams its massive arm through Blaziken’s chest. Roxanne falls to the ground coughing. The Blaziken screams in agony, blood gushing out of its body.
Groudon swings its blood riddled arm and tosses Blaziken away.
Groudon turns towards Roxanne who was still crying, it bends down and rubs its massive face against hers, growling innocently. Roxanne stands up and rubs her hand on Groudon’s face and replies, “I’m alright. Thank You Groudon!” A few minutes later, some military forces find them and see the aftermath of a shocking spectacle.

VENKAT & DRAKE
Typhlosion stood a few feet away from the edge of the cliff. It had performed a Herculean act. It was breathing hard, struggling to stand up. The strain was incredible, and then it collapses. Venkat calls him back, “Thanks buddy!” Prima speaks out, “Ok! Two down and one to go. I have to stay back here and make sure that ice doesn’t melt. Now, where would Pebble be?” Venkat ponders this thought. Suddenly a call comes on his phone, “Hello! WHAT! You’re joking!” Prima asks, “What! Where is he?” Venkat hangs his head, “We’re in deep trouble. Pebble is on Shamouti Island! Our base!!” Prima is shocked, “HOLY ****! VENKAT! Get there quick! Our base is very vulnerable”
Venkat releases his final pokemon, a beautiful green fairy that looks more at home in a Disney cartoon than anywhere else. A CELEBI! With haste, Venkat and Celebi make their way to Shamouti Island hoping that Regirock hasn’t fount the base yet. He reaches in the nick of time, thankfully up till now pebble better known as Regirock was going through forests and hadn’t attacked any people but it must have found the location of the base because it was heading right towards it.
The forest clears to reveal your typical sunny and sandy beach which had a cliff face on one side. But it guarded a secret. It looked normal but somewhere in the sand was the entrance to the massive headquarters of the GLOBAL ELITE. The immense complex was spread entirely beneath the island and the only entrance by foot, was an inconspicuous hole somewhere hidden in the sand.
Venkat flies in with Celebi a few feet in front of Regirock. Venkat warns the rock golem, “Not one more step! One more and I will turn you to dust.” The rock golem just stands there, its eyes blinking on and off randomly. It starts to chuckle and then without warning it sends a massive HYPERBEAM, Venkat doesn’t dodge, it hurtles toward him but it stops a few meters short, stopped by a translucent pink screen, a LIGHT SCREEN. The rock golem lets out a grunt of frustration. It starts to then run towards Venkat. Celebi uses its psychic power to toss Venkat into the air; it holds him in place and charges a SOLARBEAM. Regirock meanwhile fires another HYPERBEAM at Celebi, seconds before it hit’s Celebi fires SOLARBEAM, the two beams clash but the HYPERBEAM breaks through and hits Celebi. Celebi and Venkat fall to the ground. Venkat gets up, infuriated. He realized that Celebi though extremely strong was not physically sturdy enough to survive the rock golem’s blows “All right Regirock! You want to play rough. THEN FINE”
Venkat was about to perform what most people even scientists considered impossible. He was going to use an ancient technique that was supposedly mastered by few. The technique involved the channeling of psychic energy from a pokemon to a human to give him super-human abilities, it sounded crazy but it theoretically could be done. Till now there was no recorded account of someone actually performing this act except in ancient text. The technique is called the Aura Share and according to ancient texts, it had certain criterion for it. The human recipient had to mentally be very strong and the donor pokemon had to be a powerful psychic or a psychic legendry like a Celebi otherwise it was suicide to try and perform this act. Venkat fully understood the consequences and was ready.
He outstretched his palm to Celebi, closed his eyes and started to chant. Celebi understood what his master was saying and placed its palm against his. A green aura seemed to flow from one to the other. Venkat felt an enormous amount of strain as psychic energy surged through his body. His body mass seemed to increase, his hair started to flow like the wind, a fiery green aura surrounded him and his eyes went from normal with a black pupil to green, just bright green without a pupil.
He positioned his hands to his sides and let out an unearthly roar, Regirock remained unfazed though it did sense a tremendous amount of energy emanating from his opponent.
Venkat started to run toward Regirock at inhuman speed. Regirock then started to run towards him as well.
Within seconds they closed in on each other, and punched. Their fists collided and the impact was so massive that it threw both of them backwards. However, they managed to land on their feet. Regirock noticed a crack in its fist and Venkat noticed crimson droplets on the sand, his knuckles were bleeding. Regirock ran towards Venkat and tried to smash him but he jumped above and delivered a powerful kick to Regirock’s back. It fell over. Regirock got up and before it could react, Venkat started to pummel him with punches and kicks. Regirock keeps getting pushed back by the force of Venkat’s attacks. Regirock then lifts his hands to his face, Venkat keeps punching. Suddenly, Regirock removes its hands and delivers a powerful HYPERBEAM, Venkat is blown back and he lands with his back skidding against the sand.
Venkat gets up, his shirt practically torn off, his back scratched badly. Regirock attempts another HYPERBEAM but this time Venkat manages to dodge by doing a sideways flip. Venkat crouches, closes his eyes and it appears as if he is applying pressure to something. In a flash, the world slows down; Venkat had just managed to slow down time!! He smiles, “HA! Diarugia could not have done better” He races towards Regirock, stops at his side and side kicks him into the cliff wall. Regirock could not react to Venkat’s extremely “fast” movements. Venkat comes close to Regirock and starts to pummel him with punches, to the normal eye it looked as if he had just gained a hundred arms. Then suddenly, Venkat stops, crouches down clutching his stomach, he had gotten a cramp because his body could not take all the stress given by his super-human abilities. The flow of time returned to normal, Regirock saw its chance and smashed its granite fist into Venkat’s face sending him flying backwards. It then leaps up into the air and brings its full weight down upon Venkat. However, there is no sound of a hit, no blood pouring out from underneath Regirock; in fact Regirock’s fist did not even stretch but stopped short.
A translucent green shield was protecting Venkat. It was Celebi, blood red eyes stare in anger at the Rock Golem. It let out a low pitch growl. Celebi was obviously very protective of its master, most psychics were.
It blasts away Regirock with a massive PSYCHIC blast and then fires a SOLARBEAM which seems to drill into Regirock and sends him crashing into the canyon wall. Regirock drops to the ground.
Celebi turns around and looks at the battered and bruised body of its master. It gently lifts Venkat up and uses its HEAL BELL to repair his injuries. His scratched and bleeding back, his broken teeth, his battered arms, his slashed legs all miraculously heal. Celebi puts him down.
Venkat opens his eyes, though all his injuries are healed, his entire body is aching, his Aura Share fades and he returns to normal. He sees Celebi smiling at him and mouths out a thank you, he falls asleep, and Celebi then lies down on his chest and falls asleep as well.

EPILOGUE
The same news story is currently running across all television screens all over the world. The story of the 17th of May or Dark Tuesday as it will be known from now on. The day 3 metropolitan cities came under siege. The day millions were in danger yet thanks to the valiant efforts of few, the numbers of causalities were a fraction of what they could have been.

We find ourselves at a massive underground facility beneath Shamouti Island, the GLOBAL ELITE headquarters. We see 5 very familiar faces inside of the Satellite Viewing Room, a large room with an ornate round table and chairs with a large widescreen television fixed into the wall. They are Sana, Clair, Prima, Drake and Venkat. All watching the horror experienced by people today
The news report is shocking. Venkat watches footage filmed by an amateur video camera of the awesome fight between Sabrina and a monster Venusaur.
The most shocking part is when she herself uses the dreaded Aura Share Technique and that too instead of using the power like he did; she just magnifies it and sends it towards the Venusaur. He had only met her twice. Once as a new trainer and later as a field agent. That was when he told her about of the Aura Share Technique, he warned her about it, told her not to use it. The report says that the post mortem revealed that she had suffered severe brain hemorrhage, it was obvious. He barely escaped death himself.
The news reporter mentions that Sabrina’s fiancé, Abhishek also helped the city fight the monster pokemon. He managed to single handedly defeat a monster Blastoise that was threatening hundreds of ill pokemon in the pokemon center.
He was last seen driving a military Humvee. According to 2 officers whom he met, Abhishek was very depressed and mentally weakened; he also single handedly killed the monster Charizard using only a sniper rifle. After leaving the scene, he was found dead in his house. He committed suicide and was found by passers by who heard gunshots. The report then tells about Clair and her friend Sana and how they quickly and efficiently dispatched all three of the monsters and prevented hundreds of possible casualties from occurring. They were last seen entering a black helicopter and heading of towards the Orange Islands.
The final report was the sad tale of Roxanne and Nishant. He saw more amateur footage of Nishant being crushed by a car then images of a Blaziken grabbing Roxanne by the collar thus dropping a crimson pokeball, after that the video went fuzzy. However, the reporter reassured that Roxanne was alright as she was saved by a Groudon which gored the Blaziken to death. After that there was a coverage on supposed attacks on the Orange Islands as well, the pokemon lab on Valencia Island was attacked by an unidentified creature, also some news crews were stopped from filming what appeared to be a massive iceberg being cut and a portion of it being airlifted away. Thankfully, the staff of the lab managed to escape just in time. Eyewitness reports claim that it was Registeel, one of the 3 artificial golems said to have been disappeared years ago that attacked the lab
But the staff has denied this claim. Prima smiled, Ivy was a good friend of hers and they knew each other’s secrets very well. It was obvious that Ivy would not say or do anything that would harm the interests of the GLOBAL ELITE. Up till now know one had paid any attention to Sana, she was crying. She just witnessed the death of her two best friends and her favorite Gym Leader. She was shocked beyond belief; she cursed herself for taking this event lightly. Her happy-go-lucky demeanor turned against her. Even though she was a strong willed person, she could not hold back her grief at this moment. She turned towards Venkat who was sitting on the opposite side. His face was as sad as sad could be. Then, Venkat stood up and announced his resignation from the Elite. His colleagues and Sana were shocked at this sudden announcement.
When asked for the reason, Venkat replied that it was his because of his failure to find the Marauder’s Base, innocent people got hurt and even killed today. He considered himself to be a failure in everyone’s eyes. Two of his best friends had died today because of his fatal mistake. He should have gone immediately to one of the three cities when he got the news. Drake argues by saying that it wasn’t his fault, that he had know idea that the Dark League was operating again and there was know human way by which he (Venkat) could reach any one of the cities in time plus they needed him here to dispatch/capture the Regis. Without his help they could never have captured the Regis. Venkat denies this and then Sana replies that if he is going then she is coming with him. She won’t lose another friend. Venkat denies at first but reconsiders and allows her to come with him. After all they always shared a special bond.
They start to walk towards the door when Prima stops them. She says that Mr. Fuji, the founder of the GLOBAL ELITE had gone for a press conference and they were showing it right now. The least they could do is listen to his speech.
A tall, old man with a short grey beard and a bald head walks onto the podium with a dignified stance. He was well respected for his work in fighting Pokemon Related Crimes. He supports himself on his staff and brings his mouth near the mike to speak. The world watches him with respect and becomes silent to listen to this man. Mr. Fuji begins to speak....................
Ladies and Gentlemen, today on the 17th of May we have witnessed a terrible crime committed on the people of the world, a heinous and barbaric crime which has scarred the world forever. However, thanks to the valiant efforts of few, the monster has failed in his attempt. I promise all of you today especially those who have lost their loved ones that this act will not go unpunished. We saw the emergence of true heroes today, be it policemen, firemen or those young souls who fought off those beasts.
I want all of you, those here and those watching to give a round of applause for these people some of whom lost their lives. Heroism is not saving a cat from a tall tree but the will to give your life for an ideal that you respect that you believe in. Heroes are people like Miss Sabrina who gave her life to save hundreds of people trapped in a train station. Heroes are people like that young lad Nishant who sacrificed himself to save a friend.
I would like to warn those responsible for today that you have put yourselves in grave danger. I will go into the deepest darkest corners of the earth to find you. Today you will see a massive uprising of people, the likes of which the world has never seen. I dare you to try and kill me; it will not do you any good. People have awakened today and a hundred more will come in my place. You have already hammered the final nail into your own coffins. Before long you will recive what you deserve. Now I request for a moments silence for those who lost their lives today.....................
For a moment, the whole world becomes silent in respect. Venkat and Sana have tears in their eyes knowing that the world was in good hands. Before they leave, they mention that should their services be required, they can be found in Fiore.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Jhoto, we pay a visit to the infamous mansion headquarters of the Dark League. Jonathan Wooden in his private room watches Mr. Fuji’s speech with bitterness. After it ends he starts to laugh at the farfetched claims made by Mr. Fuji. Jason enters through the large double doors and walks up to Wooden’s couch. He apologizes to him for their failed mission but Wooden replies that on the contrary it was successful. The havoc that was caused was immense, he would soon recive multiple orders for his super soldiers. He lights a Cuban cigar, then suddenly, the entire mansion explodes. The explosion was so massive that it created an earthquake like shockwave, debris spreads all over the area and a burning ruin is left where a proud building once stood. A lone helicopter armed with missile launchers hovers nearby. A man is sitting on one of the passenger seats behind the pilot. His face is hidden in darkness but a portion of his orange suit can be seen and a hand scratching the head of Persian. The man mutters to himself, “We would not like any competition now would we?”
