I saw the opening today and it was FULL OF SPOILERS (My favourite thingy ).
Here are the spoilers:

Ash monferno evolved into INFERNAPE.
Dawn gets a TOGEKISS.
Ash was standing with a TORTERRA in a scene (possibly it belongs to Ash).

I guess the animators were too lazy to edit it every time there is a team change.
I personally don't like spoilerific openings (it ruined all the surprises lined up for the 3rd Season of FMA: Brotherhood) and personally liked how spoilers were handled with Together, but.. yay you!
