DeSiPokémon is proud to present the first DeSiPokémon Fandub project (well we had one last year, but didn't get through).

As well all know what fandubs are, we here at DeSiPokémon are working on fandubbing the 1st episode of the 10th season of Pokémon - Diamond & Pearl in Hindi. Some of you may ask why we are doing so, well fandubs are mainly for fun, to experience how it feels to be a Voice Actor. And also, fandubbing is done when a particular series is not yet/or never going to air at your place.

Diamond & Pearl will take around 2008-09 to arrive in India. Until then, we're going to give you a taste of the series in Hindi, yes we aren't professional, just beginners, but all that matters is having fun.

The fandub will be dubbed from the Japanese raw episode. Yet, English names will be used throughout the fandub. We will provide you the non-vocal version of the episode, well the part you are dubbing, and you shall voice over it according to the translated lines given to you.

Sure, it would be nice if you send in a voice sample, PM it to me or email, so we can decide which role suits you best.

We are currently the ones translating the dialogs, not much professional hindi, but trying out best. Looking for people who can help to translate better. You know living in a city like Mumbai, u can't expect shuddh hindi from us ;p

Yes, as soon as we finish the script, we'll make video clips and make available for those who wish to voice it. Will be shortly in a day or two. Hence we need translators who can help out with it.

Maybe you cud put it into words and type it into some translator site, then we'll translate english->hindi.
I know translators do word to word translation, but we can manage that.

The translator sites arent always accurate though... in fact, they can get completely the wrong meanings of words quite often, unfortunately... ^_^;

I hope we have shown enough samples. So those interested in dubbing, post about the character you wish to voice here. The script translation has reached around half the episode.

Wow! <i>Whoever</i> was the voice actor for the Narrator did a great job, and <i>whoever</i> it was should stop doubting themselves and dub some more people! ^_^

Wow!! That's a super-terrific fun project you'll are up with. Wish I could also join you guys but alas I no longer have a mic, after the old one died.. And translating isn't my cup of tea heh.. speaking of pokemon voices, then I'd suck at it.
