Almost all of the sayians with exception of Goku,Vegeta,Raditz and Nappa got roasted by Frieza in destruction of Planet Vegeta.
At the time of destruction,King Vegeta was the King of all sayians and several low class warriors do work under him.
One of the most famous one is Bardock.
He was the father of Goku and another low class warrior.He was the first to rebel against the orders of Frieza after Frieza killed four of his friends.Bardock put a fight against frieza, defeating his almost most powerful members like Dodoria.However when Frieza created the Death Ball,he got blasted and thus the whole planet.

He has ability to see the future.He saw in the future vision that Goku will defeat Frieza and thus sent Goku away from Planet Vegeta.
In the special episode,Episode of Bardock,it was shown that he got back into the past after the blast and was the one who defeated Frieza's Ancestor,Chilled.
He is the first Supesayain in Dragon Ball History if counted from the past.
