My choice is the same.Trip who continuously defeated Ash got knocked out at the league with the Pikachu.
By the way team rocket is not a rival.

As the matter of fact,your poll was not accurate.
Firstly Team Rocket is not a rival.
Kenny is not Ash's rival.
In my opinion the most best rival is Gary Oak.He is the true rival.Although he was a bit like paul in Orignal series,but in the later series he became more cool and helper of Ash.If Ash had'nt Charizard he would have been no match for Gary.

Okay my mistake.
However the most funny one was the battle with barry.
Some time I thought that Victini your nature is as same as barry.
