Banned Episodes

has anybody ever wondered about the banned episodes of pokemon and why they got banned?
I have especially one of the episodes called 'the legend of dratini' just for having a gun pointed at ashs face oh, come on thats silly!.

has anyone had these thoughts?

Ah, the infamous Tauros episode!
They should've just aired a version of the episode without the scene in question, half (maybe more?) of the fandom still has no clue how Satoshi got his 30 Tauros.

Yeah, that is totally silly. They banned the episode cause of continues gun incidnts in america at that time but still that is point less to cut an episode from the anime. [smilie=c3002.gif]

I would have rather like seeing Ash throwing Pokéball at random Pokémon, but catching just Tauros.
Also the Porygon line hasn't returned yet...
