30th July '09 - DeSiPokemon Forums 4th Birthday

That's the date and time when DeSiPokemon Forums was launched on this.. Earth? Hmm na maybe *Internet would be better. It was initially hosted on free hosting providers, had no desipokemon.com domain name, and was quite minimal category-wise or content and member-wise as it is today. Over the years the forums have gone through a LOT of changes, the major one being the recent 1st June '09 Re-Launch. The forums has also gone through months of deadness (besides spiders lurking around), a few occasions where we've faced downtimes due to Turkish hackers or malicious infections on the server. Even the forums software has gone through 2 major upgrades. Inspite of all this, all the activity and members from Day 1 has been still preserved, because we truly care about them.

On this 30th July of the year 2009, DP Forums turns 4, and although I don't really had anything big planned, I still feel we could pull up something quick for the occasion. Whatssay about a Live online Podcast Meetup? Or maybe I could cook up a nice new theme for the forums.. OR some new addition alongside the forums.. I don't know, you could suggest something, and hopefully I might get into implementing it.

LIES! I reminded you! Lol.. Though indeed even I almost forgot about it today. Out of randomness suddenly it striked me at 17:40.. exactly 2 mins before the birthday. I guess the brain has some quiet reminders running in the background, lol. Anyhow, I've been busy lately in IRL, so couldn't do anything for the occasion.

Anyways, DPF has really played a major role in changing our lives, atleast it has for me, ever since I joined it, Glad to see that DPF is still up and running after 4 years ^^.
