What happens if I buy a doll ?

What exactly happens when I buy a doll :?:

While other Items may be of use and worth buying, PokeDolls are just to fancy urself on the Forums. They serve no purpose at all other than showing ur fav pokemon dolls to others, and letting u have some imaginary stuffed pokemon on the forums.

As for real Pokemon, we'll be having a Pet system soon, so u can *actually* buy and raise a Pokemon, feed it regularly, maintain its health, improve its stats, and so on. The pet will be shown in the same way, below ur avatar in the forums.
