orkut makes it easy to find people who share your hobbies and interests, look for romantic connections or establish new business contacts. You can also create and join a wide variety of online communities to discuss current events, reconnect with old college buddies or even exchange cookies recipes.

In short, Orkut is where you'll (almost) find all of those long lost ol' school friends, or thousands and more members sharing same interests as u, e.g. anime, computer games, programming, music, etc. It really works, it's not just another friendship site like hi-5 or bebo, it's a whole lot better. I've been on it from more than a month now and just upon joining, I found almost all of my ol' school mates, whom I never thought I'd meet ever again. So it really works, and besides, make up a good profile and u'll see members lingering around u sending u friend requests and sending u scraps (in ur scrapbook, similar to leaving a message in ur guestbook and u reply back by messaging in their scrapbook).
So enough of introduction, coming to the point, I've just created a community for DeSiPokemon Forums on Orkut, hoping to boost more members into joining here, and thus spreading our forums in a better way other than spam. So I'd like u all to join in there and invite others in too, alongwith also enjoying the other features of Orkut (if ur not already there). Here's the link to the Community: http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=19999586
Link to my profile if you wanna add me as well to ur friends

Now it's a service from Google, so obviously its a quality-service. And also just as smart Google has been with GMail, Orkut too follows the same pattern of invite-only registrations, to avoid spammers and help grow the network by having u ask sumone for an invite and thus joining their network of friends as well.
If ur not already on Orkut, or can't find an invite, go ahead and post ur request here and I'll send u an invite asap. Don't forget to include ur email where the invite has to be sent, and please always post ur email in the format username[at]domain[dot]com or .com, to prevent spambots crawling around the interweb from pickin up ur email into their list.
Hope to see u all there, for I've introduced this awesome community service to u which u'll surely get addicted to.
