Catching Up!

Postby Petey » November 21st, 2006, 10:45 pm

Japan
Season: 10 (Diamond & Pearl)
Episode: 477 (Mimilol to Asobou!)

USA
Season: 9 (Battle Frontier)
Episode: 444 (What I did for Love!)

India
Season: 7 (Advanced Challenge)
Episode: 330 (Fight for the Meteorite!)

As you can see CN-India is catching up! Do you think we'll be able to catch up with the US soon?

Yup.. India has completed 7 Seasons alongwith lots and lots of repeats and marathons and Pokemania and what not, in just 3 yrs i.e. Pokemon made its debut here in May 2003. So I think that itself is an achievement for it, even tho we started uber late, which is quite unpleasing coz we cudn't get into the fandom earlier, but even then we ARE CATCHING UP!! that's the main point. So I bet we'll reach Battle Frontier by the end of next year, which will be Diamond & Pearl debut in the US, since PAC will mostly end in early Jan (since it's aired 6 days a week now), and then as the tradition goes, repeats for another 2.5 months, next comes PAB in summer holidays, followed by PAB repeats, that is, if everything goes as expected, hope so.

That IS called catching up, airing Pokemon 6 days a week instead of 5 is what I call boosting up. Now just think bout it, after Pokemon BF ends here, won't US still be in the D/P and India too in the same.. how much more do u expect from them ? End PAC and PAB in a day and start with PBF now ?

dude, that ll never happen, CN India gets its episodes from CN USA, so, if CN india catches up with CN usa, CN india, ll never overtake them cause overtaking CN usa ll mean dubbing from jap, that ll never happen!

I was gonna make a thread about this exact thing but whatever. I'll post here instead.

As far as i researched, PAC started in november and will go on for at least 2 months. That means PAC will be over by Jan and the repeats will begin. Now one of 2 possibilities. One repeat or two repeats. The latter is more likely. That means the repeats will end by April at the most and we will begin PAB. Now here's the interesting part. The last 12 episodes of PAB is actually set in the Kanto Battle Frontier.... w00t!!! So we will have a nice glimpse of whats in store for us. Finally, when the actual Battle Frontier i.e. Pasta La Vista onwards to A new Beginning airs in India depends on when they air in the US.

Old thread but still:
Currently Japan and US are in the same season Galactic Battles.
Meanwhile India is 2 seasons behind ie Diamond And Pearl (ep 6).
