Gen 5: Return Of Pokémon!

I am guessing it is the first time for you that a new Generation is revealed?

Well, when the 4th gen was revealed I was already too late. I didnt have anyone to speak with or anything. I was a little excited about it but then I was late and it vanished quickly. So yes, you could say that this is a first.

And for me its definitely first time.
I started playing pokemon games on no$gba (accidentally!) about 3 years ago.
And then 4th generation was there, wasnt it?
But for me, hoenn was also new and I didnt knew even what sinnoh is.
Then while exploring Bulbapedia and other, I understood that 4th generation is also there and I started playing it.
So, This is for the first time for me..
And I am so much excited about this.

I have been into Pokémon for 9 years now.
Yeah, I was introduced to it on December 17, 1999. So its 10th year running now. I saw the first game back then. The anime came a year later. Its lucky having uncles in USA.
I completed my first game when I was 5. Joined Pokémon at 3. Saw anime at 4. Got my Game Boy at 4. GBA at 8. DS at 10. Cube at 10.

So this is my 3rd time. Or rather 4th time since I was into the internet by October 11th, 2000 when Gold and Silver came in America. We didn't used to have BP and Serebii to tell us about the Japanese scene of Pokémon back then.

I became one of the founders of the Go Go Pokémon, an Indian club which held battles every year. Won it the last 5 times. Its there that I gained the title of Master Prongs at the age of 10.
It was closed down then.
*sigh* Old days. I must write a book on my history with Pokémon,

I wish I could knew pokemon in the age when u knew it.. U are too lucky. I asked recently about DS but the ans was N O - NO!. If DS2 is going to release then hope I will buy it and be a real pokemon game player.
Ok now, I am now a fan and will continue to be, so I can tell the new members of DPf after 10 years, that I am fan from 2009 and this is 10th year and now I am anticipating the arrival of 8th generation or ~.

Oh god! Gen 8, I doubt the company can stretch it any longer, it'll break.

Nope I wont leave pokemon, if they maintain their quality and dont do what they did in hoenn. Hoenn was worst in 4. So we dont want hoenn like artificial pokemon again in gen 5.

Hum, hoenn was okay I guess. But I hope the designs will be better in the next gen(s)

Actually Hoenn is among the best.
With the likes of Sceptile, Blaziken, Metagross, Salamance and Flygon it is a vital part of every battler's team.

Its got two pseudo legendaries in it. I think thats good.

I hate hoenn except metagross and few others.
Still they can maintain their quality bcoz many animals and plants are untouched..
